Mondays Mindset

 Good Morning All,

I know it's been a long while since I have posted,  I'm skipping the long explanation because it changes nothing. It's just part of life.

Moving forward, I have gotten over some hurdles with God's help,  my life is calming down and becoming peaceful. His joy is spreading in my heart. God Is Good.

I'll be posting on Mondays (Mindset) and Fridays (Finish). God's word says we need to set our mind's on what we want to accomplish.  This is a challenge for me as I'm one of those people who has always  worked on three  or four projects and a couple activities on the side.  I am simplifying my life.

Friday's Finish is exactly that.  I'm still quilting  but added many items to that.  So now I'm cutting back to basic baby blankets and throws. A few animals.  I paint rocks and make bookmarks and journals. But it will be at much slower pace. I need to enjoy  the process and what it  prayerfully brings to others.

Okay, My goal for this week is to

1. finish a dress for someone else, heming sleeves.

2. Finish boarders on throw.

3. Paint last 4 rocks for order.

4. Make blocks for scrappy quilt.

Just finished this baby quilt,  It goes to toddler age.

I used free motion butterflies on the boarder and finished with stitch in the  See you

Tell me what you think of it.  See you on Friday for the finish.

                                                                           Blessings

  2. Well hello, friend. It is so nice to see a post from you. I haven't blogged in over a year myself and trying to decide if I will get back into it.
I love your plan for Monday Mindsets and Friday Finishes. I'll be following along.
Your free motion butterflies are beautiful in the baby quilt. I'm sure it will be loved.

  3. Hi Tonia. I was so happy to see your post today. I have missed you and thought about you often. I am glad you are doing well and trusting in our Father. I know he is with me every day and helps me make it through no matter what life throws at me. Some days are hard though, but I am still here.
I love the little quilt. The butterflies you did are gorgeous!

  4. I really like the baby quilt! Also, I admire you setting days etc. I seem to be falling behind in my schedules since hubby retired. Yep, he does shall we say distract me lol. But I am going to try to take a lesson from you and do the same. Set a schedule lesson things to do (yeah, right who am I kidding? Seem to have more to do now than I ever did before). I need to remedy that.
    Good to see you posting!
