Happy Spring,
With Easter coming this week end a reminder of the responsibility of buying bunnies for your children was blogged by my friend Lana,  I was so taken with her approach to this practice of buying bunnies ,chicks and ducks at this time of year, I ask her if I could share it too.  Being the kind person she is here it is.  Is'nt her bunny cute.

Dear Easter Bunny,

With your fur so white...

your gorgeous eyes

 and tiny height...

How sweet you are to call my own...

to watch you grow and grace our home...

But just as sweet as you are to me...

So many more are suffering...

Bought from a little farmland store,

for a child to play with then ignore.

Please Mom and Dad, remember this,

The best bunnies of all

give a CHOCOLATE KISS...

Just a gentle reminder 

from myself and my sweet 

little Cotton Patch...

Yes, they are cute and cuddly..

However...

Bunnies live LONG lives...

are WONDERFUL pets...

but REQUIRE a LOT of  Exotic care...

And should live FOREVER inside your home...

Please don't purchase real 

bunnies for gifts for 

children at Easter...

After the new wears off 

and they grow up...

Many are just "let go" and

do not survive in the wild...

or neighborhood street...

or highway...

PLEASE!!!!

GO CHOCOLATE 

THIS YEAR!

EVERYBODY WINS!!!
