Welcome to the "WE support You" blog hop, I'll take this opportunity to thank Mdmme Samm and Pat for all the preparation they have went to for this hop. Great job ladies.
I have never went through so many different emotions on one hop before. So glad I joined with these heart warming ladies. There have been many beautiful projects. I have made this quilted throw in support for my niece Allison, for the battle she is going through with this horrible disease. She is in her early 30's and has three beautiful girls. She lives in Tok Alaska, so needless to say I don't get to see them in person. I guess you could always use an extra blanket there.
The backing is flannel and as you can see I still have to hand stitch the border down. I'm going to try and get it in the mail friday. Please be sure and visit all the ladies on today's schedule and I included the whole list in case you missed a day.
Please support the recipients of these made from the heart gifts with your prayers.

ReplyDeleteHi Tonia,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the nice colorful package that I rec'd today in the mail. You really made my day, thank you. Even though that pattern is older I have a cute project (I think) to make out of it. Not sure when I'll get to it but will let you know when I do. I just did a public post thanking you on my blog as well. Hopefully that winter nuisance without power and snow has calmed down in your area. It's still cold here but at least it's above zero now without those torturous winds. Stay well and enjoy your needle works. Your blog friend, Jane
The quilt you made is gorgeous! Cancer, in all its many forms, is a hateful disease. My son-in-law has been battling stage IV kidney cancer for 4 years. He is so brave, but cancer is a relentless enemy. A friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer several weeks ago and has just begun chemo. I pray for a cure for cancer of all forms, soon, very soon! Your niece is sure to love the quilt! Have a beautiful weekend.
