Hello All,
Yep, today is my day to share my star. I went a little differently than most of the
ladies. Partly because of time as I had some health issues after I ask to be part of
this hop. And Carol at http://www.justletmequilt.com being the gracious lady that she is agreed that I could join in. And secondly I thought you might want to see something a little different and get a Christmas gift idea early in the year. Most of you know I'm married to Santa so it's Christmas here year around. Notice the candy canes in the pocket. He never leaves home without them.
Now onto the hop, yes I dared to share Christmas deco. But if you look closely most patches have stars in them.
the backing is pine comes, I still need to fluff the lumps out.
Now we will see if your paying attention. I will be giving away the pattern and fabric for this little stocking.
Just make sure I have your email address, add it to your comment if necessary.
Mention your preferred color for stocking, star and heart.
and if you need floss.
I love the little snowflake. And just so you can see just how small this really is
just one more photo.
I will draw for the pattern on the last day of the hop and notify the winner by email and on my blog that day.
Remember to visit the other ladies and enjoy yourself browsing.

Love this pillow, Tonia. The large ric-rac border is a perfect divider between JOY and the patchwork. I like your little stocking just the way it is :)

I had no idea you married to Santa...lucky you! He looks so cute sitting there with candy canes in his pocket. That pillow is beautiful, Tonia, and the tiny stocking is so adorable...I love them both! My morning feels so much brighter after seeing your Christmas projects and getting confirmation that Santa is real...yay! Thank you sweet lady for hopping with us and hopefully you are feeling better. xo
ReplyDeleteI was married to two Santa Claus at different times in my life. They each had the white hair, mustache, and beard. The first one walked out and the second one is in Heaven. The second one would tell kids in the store that he was Santa and tell them they needed to be good. It's fun, isn't it. What a great pillow! The star fabrics are perfect. The stocking is adorable. The colors you chose are perfect. Hope you are feeling better. I know what it's like to face health issues every day.
ReplyDeleteyour projects are wonderful. I would put my stocking in white with red heart and heel and gold star and green leaves. I do have plenty of embroidery floss. thanks for the inspiration and give a way.

ReplyDeleteWhat fun to be married to santa. Your pillow is inspiring for sure and the stocking is so adorable. I've worked with wool only a couple of times, but this looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteI like the stocking just the way it is. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteRegarding stockings, blue is my favourite colour. It is such a cute stocking and wonderful pillow. I hope your health is better. My husband has potential to turn into Santa, he is not grey enough yet and at the moment he is happy to be grand dad.
ReplyDeleteYou ARE married to Santa! Lucky you!!!! And lucky the little ones that get to meet him and be wowed. Good for him for doing what he does! Your pillow is sweet. (please don't enter me in the giveaway though).
ReplyDeleteGreat project and wow you are married to Santa. Love the stocking.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! That is lovely, and I would be thrilled with it exactly as you showed. And I would need floss, as I packed mine away so carefully that I can't find it.
ReplyDeleteSeeing your husband made me smile. When I was a girl, a friend lived next door to Santa and it always shocked me when I would stay overnight and see Santa come out in the morning in his robe to pick up his morning newspaper. Didn't he have elves for that?
Such a sweet stocking!
ReplyDeleteToo cute ty for sharing... happyness04431@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThat picture of your husband is a real treasure. I love your cushion. I love seeing Christmas themed things year round. I love the colors of the stocking just as they are in the picture so I guess my preferred colors would be those.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful projects!
ReplyDeleteI love that your husband carries candy canes with him. Do children run up to him a lot? Your pillow is so pretty and the little stocking is adorable. Don't enter me in your contest though, I have never learned embroidery. Someone will love making it though.
ReplyDeleteSince you are married to Santa, I can see why you sew a lot of Christmas items. I love your little stocking - if I win, I would choose brown for the stocking, red for the socks and yellow for the star. Thank you, peterstankovich@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteAdorable stocking and a red one...my fav...could hold little secret surprises for a loved one.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous wee stocking, and Santa right there. My fav colours are greens and blues.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were married to Santa you lucky girl. I love your star covered Christmas pillow and the stocking is darling. I like it just the way it is. If I were to win I have floss, lots and lots of floss stashed away.
ReplyDeleteYour pillow is wonderful, and definitely is a star! I loved the picture of your husband and the candy canes in his pocket. The stocking is just perfectly fabulous, too. I like it in black, with the other colors just the same. I have an entire store of floss in my sewing room. And perle and silk ribbon, and all the other stuff it takes to make crazy quilts. =)
ReplyDeleteOh, my that stocking sure is little and cute!!
ReplyDeleteBelieve me the world needs to show the Christmas spirit everyday of the year, not just for a month or especially not just one day! I hope you are feeling better. I love that Christmas stocking just as it is. If I am too late for the drawing I hope you will share the pattern. Thanks! quiltyladyrr@gmail.com
