That bear is cute, cute, cute, Tonia! The scarf around the neck makes it look so classy. I've never been good at sewing stuffed creatures, but this is so adorable I might just have to try again. Same goes for your pretty basket. I want to be creative like you when I grow up! Thank you so much for hopping along with us and for inspiring us with your sweet projects.
ReplyDeleteSnow bear and the bowl look great together. The bowl is almost too pretty to fill; I loved how you changed the colors and added extra interest.
ReplyDeleteThe Snow Bear and the rope basket are both really nice. You did a great job on them.
ReplyDeleteYour snow bear is very handsome, love his scarf. I've seen many rope bowls but never one in such lovely holiday colors. You shared some great projects. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful snuggle bear. Love the tie. I've made several baskets and coaster sets in the past but never thought to make them up for the holidays, great idea. Didn't know you had chicks, sweet.
ReplyDeleteLove the baskets!
ReplyDeletethank you for sharing your lovely projects. i remember on the farm how excited we all got when one of our new hens layed their first eggs. there were six of us and of the five kids it was always a bit of a fight who got to eat those eggs. LOL mom quickly put a stop to that one. quilting dash lady at comcast dot net
ReplyDeleteI've never made one of those bowls. Are they complicated? I love the bear's scarf!
ReplyDeleteHi Tonia! Wow, you did a fabulous job on the both bear and the basket. And those farm fresh eggs look delicious. I had them growing up - my dad was a converted farm boy citified by my mom, so we went and got eggs from the farm at least every other day at my grandpa's farm. What beautiful things you shared today! Happy Friday! ~smile~ Roseanne

ReplyDeleteI have never made a rope bowl and your first bowl certainly gives me encouragement as yours is perfect. I love the colors and prints you chose. The eggs are beautiful in the bowl and I'm sure you are proud of the girls. Did you make the snow bear, too? It looks difficult as well. It is lovely. Thanks for participating in the hops and giving me great inspiration to try something new. Merry Christmas in July
